May 21st is a special day that celebrates friendship, cooperation, and the beautiful differences that make our world so unique. Imagine a box of crayons with only one colour. It would be quite boring, wouldn’t it? Cultural diversity is what fills our world with different colours, languages, traditions, and stories. This important day reminds us to build bridges of communication, listen to one another, respect our differences, and live together in peace. In our eTwinning project, “Connecting Cultures,” we did not just talk about diversity — we experienced it!   Food   is a key element in every culture. We share many recipes with Turkiye and can find similar ones with Poland.  So we decided that we can cook and share some recipes with our partners.  Greek recipe "Spetsofai".  A million thanks to Achilles and his mother, Ms Eva, who cooked it for us. The brochure reflects the spirit of our international partnership between Türkiye, Poland, and Greece . It introduces the main goals of the project, highlights the collaborative activities carried out by our students, and showcases the skills they developed throughout this inspiring experience.  Gonca Solmaz/ Gaziemir Science And Art Center 1 May Labour and Solidarity Day Poster Activity As part of our special days and cultural awareness activities, our students prepared an informative poster for 1 May – Labour and Solidarity Day . The aim of this activity was to help students understand the importance of labour, solidarity, equality, and respect for workers’ rights. In the poster, students presented the origins and meaning of May 1 in a clear and visual way. They emphasized that May 1 represents the value of hard work, better working conditions, safe workplaces, justice, and unity. Different professions were included in the design to show that every kind of work is valuable and important for society. The poster also included meaningful symbols such as workers, hands, gears, hearts, and unity signs.
